BRIAN BOOTH was named was named the Australian player of the year 1964 after success on thE Ashes tour of England and against Sth Africa. Brian then captained Australia for two Tests during the 1965–66 Ashes series while regular captain Bob Simpson was absent. One of Australia's unsung cricketing Legends.
